ABOUT US
SheepDog Animation is a highly successful International Award-Winning Animation studio for youth and one of the all-time places to explore creativity, learn, and have fun.
We offer a range of entertaining and engaging workshops for kids, teens, and adults, from beginners to advanced. Our workshops are about more than just improving your skills and learning. It is an opportunity to become part of a community of people who love art, technology, and animation.
You can also book a guided tour for you and your family, learn about the history of Animation & Cinema, and watch a projection of old cartoon films!
We celebrate 1930's Animation
We decided to go with the 1930 look not just from the inside but outside too! Enjoy our unique studio and décor while you create and learn about history.
PLACE TO VISIT
Beside the unique building we are located next to a very unique place.
We are located just couple of minutes from Rondeau Provincial Park, the second oldest provincial park in Ontario, Canada. A place with sandy beaches, camping, and excellent hiking and biking opportunities.
SheepDog Animation received multiple awards at international festivals, including The Walt Disney TAFI, Best International Films and Special Award Winner, and the Festival Official Selection for School Reel in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
Alice is a Sheridan College graduate of Classical and 3D Animation programs. She worked for numerous animation studios on animated series such as Franklin the Turtle, Walt Disney's Gargoyles, Warner Brothers' Waynehead, Arthur, Rugrats, George and Martha, Flying Rhinos Junior High, Birdz, Babar, and the Canadian animated feature film and TV series Anne of Green Gables.
Furthermore, Alice is a children's and educational book illustrator. Her published work includes more than twenty of spin-off and first readers books of Franklin the Turtle. Her illustrations and books are published in several countries, including the USA, Korea, India, Japan, and several countries in Europe. She was the first to publish a 3D children's book in Augmented Reality in the Czech Republic. She was responsible for the animation and illustrations, as well as, the visual experience and design across the Android platform.
She was for several years a professor of animation and faculty member of the School of Creative Industries at Doon Campus, Conestoga College.

Alice is the co-founder of SheepDog Animation Studio, a highly successful international award-winning animation studio for teens and students over 11 years of age. Her professional experience and knowledge have contributed toward the establishment of the Art and Creative Lab at SheepDog Animation.
Alice's primary responsibility at SheepDog Animation Studio is to provide an educational experience to students in animation, character design, traditional studies, illustrations, layout, background digital painting.
The mix of learning experiences is to prepare students for their further studies and careers and contribute toward creating student’s personal portfolio for postsecondary educations in the field of art and technology.

MEET THE FOUNDERS
Pavel Kriz, born in the Czech Republic, is the co-founder of SheepDog Animation Studio and an educator. His professional, personal experience and knowledge contributed to the establishment of the Technology and Creative Lab at SheepDog Animation. Pavel's primary responsibility at SheepDog Animation Studio is to provide an educational experience to students in 3D computer modeling, rigging, and vector animation. He is also the designer and constructor of custom animation stations and armatures for the School Board of Education and other postgraduate educational facilities.
Before moving to Canada, Pavel graduated in manufacturing studies in Europe. After arriving to Canada, he studied at CAD-CAM Institute at Sheridan College. He started working in R&D departments in aerospace, and in medical and automotive-alternate fuel sectors. He was responsible for designing various components as well as programming manufacturing and inspecting equipment.
